Open addresses in the UK: Council Tax address lists available as open data
This page is a list of Council Tax address lists that have been released by UK local authorities for re-use on open data terms.
Currently 34 councils are listed below with links to open datasets containing a total of 5,387,079 address records.
Each list typically contains address records for every domestic (residential) property in the authority's geographic area. All lists include UPRNs (Unique Property Reference Numbers), and geocoded versions are supplied in CSV and GeoJSON formats, except where otherwise noted.
Most of these lists were disclosed to Owen Boswarva following requests made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and the Re-use of Public Sector Information Regulations 2015.
