Data.gov.uk (DGU) is the UK Government's central public metadata catalogue, administered by the Government Digital Service (GDS).

Currently DGU's public search interface doesn't offer a user-friendly view of the latest records added to the catalogue. (There's a most recent view but those results include updates to existing records.) This page has been created to fill that gap.

The csv extracts above and the list below were previously generated overnight from the latest 'dump' of the DGU catalogue. However on 25/01/2019 GDS stopped publishing those dumps. The extracts are now produced from DGU's CKAN API.

These extracts may be re-used as open data under the terms of the Open Government Licence (OGL).

The dgu-datasets-latest-created.csv file contains the same information as the list below.

The dgu-datasets-latest-modified.csv file contains information on records with a 'metadata modified' date in the past seven days. This information is provided for completeness, but may not be meaningful as the modified date doesn't necessarily indicate new data or any other significant change to the DGU record.

If this page shows that no records have been published in the past seven days, that probably means the DGU publication tool and API is down for "maintenance".
